SWANK Movie Site License and Video Request Form
Norfolk Public Schools, Curriculum and Instruction has again purchased district licenses with Movie Licensing USA to permit authorized copyrighted movies to be shown in district schools. Please go to https://www.swank.com/k-12-schools to confirm titles covered by the license. Look for the magnifying glass in the upper right corner to search by title, genre, keyword, director, or actor. Copies of the license certificates will soon be sent to schools. The effective dates are 07-01-24 through 06-30-25.
The Public Performance License assures copyright compliance when showing movies inside of your school building for activities that include:
- Student Rewards
- Family Movie Nights
- Rainy/Snow Days
- Holiday Events
- Last Days of School
