Course Information

All English students are expected to follow the district and school mandate of participating in 15 minutes of Sustained Silent Reading as instructed by their English teachers.

THIS IS A REQUIREMENT, NOT AN OPTION. 

Please make sure during this time of virtual learning that your student has novels, graphic novels, and/or nonfiction reading materials.

English 11 will take the Writing and Reading SOL in the Spring 2025

English 9 and 10 will take the Performance-Based Writing Assessment in the Spring of 2025
